Summer(itis)
Looks like my summer is getting slammered (that is: jam-packed). Craft show season is in full-gear, Girls Guide events are piling in, and I’ve just committed to my very first float trip. Tuesday morning, Tom finally turned to me and asked when he would see his wife in the next few days…
“Um… Friday?”
Even with the best time management skills, I’ve always been a busy gal. I love projects, having my calendar packed, and I can barely sit still. You know those days at work when you have five minutes to stare out the window until your eyes cross? I hate those days.
I do, however, hope to have a few weekends for lazy Sundays, Saturday morning garage sales, and afternoons at the pool with my part-mermaid niece, Addison. Taking a minute or two to lay in the sunshine (covered in SPF 4000, of course) wouldn’t be half-bad, either.
Tonight, I’ll be at the Social Media Club – St. Louis Relaunch Event at Atomic Cowboy. If you’re bloggity, a burgeoning Twitter addict, or just a fly-on-the-wall who has no idea what I’m talking about, come by and check it out. 2 for 1 drink specials is a pretty nice bonus for the evening. I’m no “social media expert,” but it is nice to put a friendly face to you folks I meet on the interwebs. (:
*Oh, and check out my post over at Girls Guide to Galaxy on buying handmade this summer…

I am making it a point to schedule pool time for Monday – even though I am casper-pasty I am afraid it will be the only time I get!
